Info

Discussing vulnerability to scams can be uncomfortable and embarrassing for any
generation. Although older adults may be interested in learning how to manage and protect
their money, they may resist sharing their financial management choices. This training is to empower the individual to take advantage of available resources and begin making incremental steps to ensure their economic security by being proactive in safeguarding their money.

This 60-minute program (50-minutes of instruction/10-minutes of Q&A) is designed to
provide participants with a basic understanding of the types of scams targeting older adults
and how to protect themselves from becoming a victim.

Handbooks will be provided for all attendees.

Class Fee: $10 a student.
